SAC CITY FOOTBALL DEF. BY No. 8 BUTTE COLLEGE 27-22 at Hughes Oct. 31st

The Panthers were behind 13-6 at halftime after 2 scoring drives of 10 or more plays ending with freshman K (#11) Matthew Barmby converting on two 26 yard field goals attempts. Sacramento City midway in the third quarter scored on a 77 yard touchdown throw from freshman QB (#15) Taylor Laird to freshman WR (#10) Keylan Mack tying the game at 13-13.

After another scoring drive of least 10 plays and 50 yards or better was capped off by freshman K (#11) Matthew Barmby field goal of 27 yards, the Panthers now trailed 20-16 at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Butte was able to get in the endzone again pushing their lead to 27-16 midway through the fourth quarter.  The Panthers final score came on freshman QB (#15) Taylor Laird 2 yard completion to sophomore RB (#4) Leonard Skattebo with 2:05 in the fourth quarter. The Panthers now trailed 27-22. The Panthers on side kick was unsuccessful and Butte was able to run out the rest of the game clock to win the game 27-22.
