City completes the DH sweep over Butte with a 12-0 shutout in game two
Sac City was able to defeat the Butte Roadrunners by a combined score of 22-0 in two non-conferences games today.
Game 1
Pitcher Angelica Dark pitched a shutout with City winning 10-0. Dark had 4 strikeouts and took her season record to 15-7. 1B Marissa Rocha went 3-3 with 1 run and 7 RBI. SS Emily Murphy was 2-4 with 3 runs. CF Sydney Craft was 1-2 with 2 runs scored and 2B Taylor Fratto finished 1-1 with 2 runs scored with 1 RBI.
Game 2
Pitcher Angelica Dark her second shutout with 3 strikeouts to lead City to a 12-0 win. Dark is now 16-7 this season while also going 2-3 with 2 runs scored. 1B Marissa Rocha continued with a hot bat going 2-2 with 2 runs scored with 2 RBI. 2B Taylor Fratto went 1-2 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI. Also good performances were put in by RF Melissa Martinez who went 2-3 with 1 run & 2 RBI. CF Sydney Craft went 2-3 with 2 runs scored, SS Emily Murphy 2-2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. LF Cecily Kaluza was 2-3 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI.
