The Panthers took the lead in the fifth when Potter scored on a wild pitch, putting them ahead 4-3. They added insurance runs in the sixth, as Chloe Kimbrell's RBI single drove in Kayla Leone, extending the lead to 5-3.
Sacramento City tacked on one more in the sixth when Ava Seguin advanced to third on a wild pitch and then scored, securing the 6-3 victory.
Almond Shuts the Door
