Highlights from the Menlo open

  • Raul Ortiz placed 2nd at 141 and went 3-1 on the day, with 2 victories over Division 1 opponents. He defeated Ricky Torres from Cal Poly SLO and Carlos Herrera from Cal State Bakersfield. Herrera was the starter for CSUB last year and placed 3rd at the PAC-12 Championships
  • Chase Miles finished 2nd at 174, and defeated Apollo Santos from Menlo College in the semi finals
  • Jordan Noble tied for 5th place at 125
  • Richard Mello defeated Christian Richer from Lassen, who is Currently ranked #6 in the State
