San Joaquin Delta used timely hitting and a solid bullpen performance to notch a 6-3 home win over Sacramento City on March 21, 2025, at Billy Hebert Field. Matthew Cormier drove in three runs to lead the Mustangs, while Carter March picked up the win in relief.
Delta Jumps Out Early
Delta wasted no time getting on the board in the first inning. Malachi Bosschart drove in the first run with a sacrifice fly, and Matthew Cormier followed with an RBI single to make it 2-0. Cormier added another run-scoring single in the third, extending Delta's lead to 3-1 after Sacramento City pushed across a run in the top half on a fielder's choice by Dylan Drake.
